10/31/07 - All of the divisions effected by the U.City drop and the Carver move should now have their team page updated.Good luck to everybody this season.

10/29/07 - Well, all the team pages are finally up, but in the true spirit of the PSCL you guys made, like, major changes before I was done. Thusly, if you are in one of the effected High School Divisions, your team page is not updated, but the schedule page and the home page are both accurate.

10/25/07 - Okay, big update day. High School West & Cental are up, along with Middle School Northeast and North. Now to go take a nap...

10/22/07 - Team pages for High School Northeast and South Divisions are up.

10/18/07 - Allright, I'm working on the new site. Once this is done then I won't be doing much this year, as the people at ASAP will be doing most of the day-to-day maintence. Home page done.

12/19/06 - Elementary Standings are up.

12/18/06 - As my christmas gift to y'all the player standings will be updated this week. High school full is up, and can be found here. The rest should be up this week, with middle school probably being up on Thursday. Oh, and take this time to check your records to see if they match mine. I don't pretend to be perfect, and chances are that I screwed somebody's record up. If your records don't match mind, send me an e-mail and let me know, and I'll try to solve it.

12/14/06 - Okay, coaches info is up. It is password protected so that we aren't giving away your personal information to any crank who wants to get it. Justin should've e-mailed the password out to all y'all, but if you don't have it for some reaosn, I'll give it to you if you ask me. The information can be found on the downloads page. Alos, matches are slowly but surely getting  up on the individual team pages, but what is up on the front should be completely up to date. And for anyone wondering when I'll do the individual player division standings and what not, the answer is, when I get the time to do so.

12/13/06 - The standings will be updated when the front page decides it wans to be changed and stops flashing the "You can't edit this because someone else is working on it" banner even though I'm the only one working on it.

12/1/06 - Firstly, Farrell, I know that you're in the league, but I don't have the time today to give you a team page. That'll happen in Monday. A couple changes have been made in the High School South Division.And otherwise the matches are trickling in. I'd perfer a downpour now, but at least I'm getting some matches.

11/9/06 - At this point it's just waiting now. Nothing really new until matches start coming up.

11/6/06 - And all the team pages be up. Time to do my happy dance. (And there's been a schedule change in MSWest. But you already knew that.)

11/3/06 - ElemWest up. One more to go.

11/2/06 - HS South is up, along with the schedule page and the match report form under the downloads link.

EDITORZ!!!!!!!!!!: All High School and Middle School team pages are up. And if I develop carpal tunnel syndrome, you know why.

10/31/06 - Yeah, it's been a long time since I wrote an entry, but there was a slight problem with Contribute I had to work out. Also, I got a hold of the new divisions. 59 teams! I was like "WOW!" Anyway, team pages are working their way up there, and schedules will soon be up as soon as I handle a discrepancy. (One of the elementary divisions has 7 teams, and we only have a schedule for 6 teams.) HSNEast is up, and HSSouth is being worked on.

10/16/06 - And all the team pages are up. WOO HOO! (Of course, everyone will probably switch divisions by December, but I don't really care.)

10/12/06 - And HSNortheast and MSCentral are up.

10/10/06 - And HSNorth up. Fun times. (Fun Trivia Fact: Had I not added this fun trivia fact, this would've been the shortest log entry I have ever done. Not counting the times I didn't do a log entry.)

10/04/06 - For the past couple of days, I have been updating this part of the website, as the expiration date on that information is quite a bit sooner. Just two more tournaments to type up and then everything will be good. Don't understand what is meant by a phrase in the tournament page? Check it out in the definition page, or if it's not on there, e-mail me. I like getting e-mail that's not spam, even if it means more work for me.

9/27/06 - Two things in about 15 minutes. First: The front page isn't as wide. I didn't realize that it was a problem until I accessed the website from home. You see, the compy I do the editing on has a very high resolution, so I get a lot of screen space. At home, I noticed that the right side of the screen was chopped off slightly. Hopefully this puts everything onto one screen. The second is that all the team pages for the Central HS are now up. They're a lot easier to make this year. I expect that two more divisions will be up tomorrow during club.

9/25/06 - The site is starting to form more and more. And again, I am starting to fall asleep in front of the computer screen. Nothing is really new this year. Except for being a junior. That's new. (And I'm actually starting the site earlier. That's really new. I'm not spending about 30 hours worth of work on a powerpoint presentation that refuses to cooperate.)

Some of the new things this year: A left-side navigation bar, so it is easier to get from page to page on the site. Not that the site was big to begin with, but this way it is a little more organized. A banner on the top, which will be replaced by an even cooler one once I get home and get a good hour on Photoshop. And this time I actually created all the pages by hand, instead of borrowing html from other sources. Looks to be a cool year. Just as long as I don;t fall asleep on the keyboard. (For anyone who hasn't had this happen to them yet, this is a bad thing. You wake up with an intrtesting pattern on the part of your face that touched they keyboard.)

9/21/06 - It's a new year, and therefore, a new home page. Also a new program, Macromedia Contribute, to help me with the site making. (Thanks to Jon Snyder to intorducing us to this program.) Right now, all the information is last year's, I'm just putting it up with that info because it's not going to change a WHOLE lot, and it'll save me a lot of time later when it actually starts. As soon as I get current information, I'll put it up. Here's to a good year!

'05-06

3/21/06 - The playoff brackets are now updated. Middle/High. Elementary.

3/20/06 - All the player lists are done for the final end of league results, both middle and high school. I would also like to know the results of the two elementary playoff matches and the middle school match that Masterman was not involved with, as those are the only results I need to finish updating the playoff brackets. Also, the match forms would be nice.

3/15/06 - Still working on the individual player lists. But final playoff brackets are now up here. Congratulations to everyone who made it . Also the elementary bracket can be found here.

3/14/06 - Happy Pi Day everybody! Anyway, you're probably wondering what new has been placed on the site. First of all, there are the top players by division, found here. Also, there has been a splash screen added so that the standings screen doesn't get to cluttered at the top. Also, the individual player list for high school is working on being updated, along with the one for middle school. It's looking to be done by the end of the week(hopefully).

3/10/06 - FTP server was down yesterday, so all the High School individual player scores are up on the individual team pages in their final state (unless your team hasn't sent a match in yet). They are not updated on the player list, as George Washington will be the first to tell you. Also, the playoff brackets are up, and we are 99.9999% sure that this will be the final result. University has to play a match against Northeast for the wildcard spot in the High School Division, and who wins that determines the final playoff bracket on the left. There is on such tiebreaks needed for the middle school. Congratulations to everyone who has gotten in, and good luck.
EDIT: Middle School players are done too.

3/8/06 - It's been a little while, I know. I've been stuck participating in the Carver Science Fair, which just did the presentations yesterday. I just updated the final standings for everyone except North. Hopefully, everything will be done tomorrow. Sorry about all this delay.

2/24/06 - Well, after being sick since President's Day, I am finally back in school. What a horrible time to be sick. :P

2/1706 - Yes, the playoff brackets have changed. Mr. Shutt told me to change them because they depicted a level of certainty that we don't have. (It actually sounded like a lecture on significant figures, but oh well.) The difference is that we don't know what place Northeast and Germantown came in their division, which matters. Though, now after discussion, we may have to rework the playoff brackets again. It'd be nice if Germantown turns in players score.

2/16/06 - And now, the moment you've all been waiting for...     playoff brackets! Notice that this is subject to change, as we might have missed something, and we are still waiting for the Northeast and Germantown matches (not against each other, but this week's match), but there will only be minor changes. EDIT: And combined player list for high school is done.

2/14/06 - Happy Valentine's Day everybody. The bad part about yesterday's snow day is that I lost a lot of crucial time, and I realized that I still need to update player scores. I have also been told that anybody who ties for a playoff spot will play a match, while if it is not a playoff spot, it will be settled by the team with the higher amount of game points. Also, the HS will have 2 division winners and a wild card, and MS will have 1st and 2nd in the playoffs.

2/9/06 - (almost)All the individual player standings are updated with the magical sheets of scorekeeping that I found laying on top of the computer this morning. Looks like the only undecided division in North High School, with a nice contest there. That looks to be interesting. But otherwise, everything I have is up, so you can find what you need, hopefully. Also, I will ask Mr. Shutt about tiebreakers for later, especially if NHS ends up in a tie, and I will have a compiled player list on Monday, hopefully. I wish everyone luck on their last week, and may the best team win.

2/8/06 - We're being flooded by new matches. This is a good thing, and hopefully we'll have updated standing on Thursday, still sorting through them. Thanks for sending them all in. Better late than never.

2/7/06 - Standings updated again, player standings are being worked on. And I've just been reminded that it is soon till playoffs. Doesn't time fly?

2/6/06 - Standings are now up to date. Boy does time fly.

2/1/06 - The WMS is up, just in time for the break. Standings will be updated first thing on Monday, and hopefully everything will run smoothly from there.
Also, I finally got around to playing a game for my team. It's about time. It's what? Week 7?

1/31/06 - So much for getting stuff done on Monday. I got sick from a skiing trip and I was really sore, so I just stayed home. This unfortunately means that there won't be many updates this week, due to the number of days off we have. Sorry about that everyone.

1/27/06 - Just finished the central middle school standings. Mr. Shutt said that he had a problem with the west middle school, so I'm just waiting on that. They will be hopefully be done by Monday. Have a happy and joyous weekend everybody!

1/26/06 - I just got the player lists updated for the three high school divisions. Middle school is still being tallied up methinks, as Mr. Shutt has said that they aren't ready yet.

1/23/06 - I just got a whole bunch of matches uploaded, now working on linking them. Finished the extra ones for Central High, and I am working currently on the ones for Austin Meehan (they had like 3, all named differently. I had to go and rename all of them. Oh well.)

1/19/06(Again, this time in the afternoon) - All the matches that are on the website are linked to. I think I caught all the broken links, but I don't trust myself in these. I won't say it, at risk of me sounding a broken record, but it has something to do with mistakes and e-mail.

1/19/06 - CHS now done. Not much more to report. As always, if you notice any mistakes, please e-mail me.

1/18/06 - Welcome back everyone. Unfortunately, this means that I have midterms, but the site should still be updated at the slow pace it has been going. But I should be able to update 3-4 pages per advisory, so that is good. Working on CHS at the moment.

1/12/06 - Yay! I got Frontpage! Because of this, I am able to update the pages faster. Wanna see a taste of what's going to be happening? Click on the Richard Allen page, probably one of the best examples. Yes, that's the individual matches and player lists. Hopefully I will now be able to update these faster and actually keep them up to date. Oh, and in case I don't post on this tomorrow, Happy Friday the 13th everybody! (Haha! It's Freshman Day here at Masterman tomorrow. This is going to be fun.)

1/6/06 - Fixed a couple of problems with the team pages. Here is the way things look to be turning out. I will be working on inputing the matches today, and Monday will be a countup, and the "official" results will be posted then.

1/3/06 - Hope you all had a nice holiday. Updating the website will get back on schedule now (hopefully).

12/23/05 - Well, I ran into a problem updating the matches. The code got confusing around the match areas, so I'm not quite sure what I should be copying to put a new match under another one. I'll figure it out eventually. (Hopefully :( )
EDIT: Came up with a different, more elegant solution. It will be implemented when I come back (maybe if I'm bored I'll do some over the winter break. Maybe.)

12/21/05 - That should be all of the team pages. If you notice a team page missing, please e-mail me saying so. It is probably one of two things: a broken link (likely) or I just plum forgot (not as likely). Matches will now be going up in no particular order besides the one which all of the matches I have are piled up on the computer next to me.

12/19/05 - Got almost all the team pages up. Will have all of them up by the end of the week. Hopefully by then I will also have a decent amount of matches up.

12/16/05 - All the standings are updated to what they are. If you have a match that isn't represented there, please e-mail me or Mr. Shutt with the results.
I have had questions about this, and I will answer this. You can send the results to either me or Mr. Shutt. They will still get to me, and they should still get up.

12/15/05 - Okay, I'm going to stop working on the team pages today, and I'm going to just update the standings today. By tomorrow, they will be fully updated since today is a chessclub day.
Oh, and thank you to everyone who sent me unreported matches via my G-mail.

12/12/05 - Since this is taking longer than I expected, I'm just going to create a blank page for each team, then input in all of the matches. The standings page will/is still up to date. Sorry for taking so long, but I promise, by the end of Week 3 I should be okay.

12/8/05 - Okay, I'm working on getting the team pages up for al the teams who have played matches and reported them to me. If your team page isn't up there yet, do not fear, I hope to have most if not all up by Friday. It would help if you guys stopped changing the structure of the league so often! Grrr.
