3rd Annual

Haverford College Greater Philadelphia
High School Chess Open

Saturday, April 7, 2007, Haverford College, Haverford, PA

Founders Hall
370 Lancaster Ave

FORMAT
The tournament is G/30 and round times are: 10:15, 11:30, 12:45, and 2:00 and 3:15. There will be an award ceremony approximately 15 minutes after the last game finishes.

The tournament will contain both a rated and a non-rated section. There will be prizes for the top players in each section, as well as the top schools. This is an individual tournament so there is no limit on the number of players from each school.

TRANSPORTATION
We will arrange for buses to bring students and coaches from the city to campus Saturday morning and drop them back off in the city Saturday evening.
** In order to have a bus transport your students you must email Caitlin (HaverfordChess@gmail.com) by Friday 3/30 with your school name and a rough estimate of the number of students who will play in the tournament. The bus will pick up students from a few centrally located high schools, but may or may not stop at your school. Transportation details will be sent out the week before the tournament, after we know which schools are participating.
